Sarah Harris

A Lawrence native, Sarah Harris attended the Columbus College of Art & Design, Columbus, Ohio, having earned a Merit Scholarship. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts, emphasis in Fashion Design. After graduating, she constructed costumes at BalletMet Columbus, Columbus, Ohio. Over the past twenty years she has worked for dance companies and theaters in various roles, sewing, draping, production and lead designer, most notably Theater Lawrence, KU Dance, and Baldwin Railway train show The Polar Express. She is thrilled to be with the now KU Department of Theatre & Dance where her brother and father attended college. She is married to Curtis and has 5 children. In her free time Sarah loves coffee, sewing and the outdoors.
