Biography

Jonah Greene received his B.A. in Theatre and Classics from Tufts University. While at Tufts, Jonah worked as an Arts Administration Intern at SpeakEasy Stage Company, served on the executive board of the Tufts student theatre organization, and directed and acted in several university productions. Jonah has also worked with TheatreSquared, JELLY Theatre Workshop, New Threshold Theatre, The Hatchery, and Arts Live Theatre.

His research interests include theatre performed in times of duress, oral storytelling traditions such as mythology, epic, and folktales, Jewish theatre, and Yiddish theatre. He is interested in the intersections between theatre and psychology, politics, and religion, particularly how storytelling and performance plays a fundamental role in Jewish culture and education.
