Claire Buss

Claire Buss is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. She grew up training at the Children’s Ballet Theatre and moved to Millennium Dance Complex SLC for her high school years. She moved to Lawrence, Kansas, in 2017 to begin college at The University of Kansas. Throughout her years at KU, she participated in Unity Hip Hop Crew, University Dance Company, and Rock Chalk Revue. She graduated in Spring 2022 with a BFA in Dance and a BSE in Physical Education. Since graduating, Claire has worked with Tristian Griffin Dance Company and House of Dragon Dance under the direction of Maya Tillman-Rayton. Claire serves as the Dance Program Coordinator, as well as teaches Jazz, Hip Hop, and Social Dance at the Lawrence Arts Center
