The Department requires an audition for entry into the Dance B.F.A. program and to qualify for Dance departmental scholarships.

If it is impossible for a student to attend the live auditions, we will accept video auditions through March 1, 2023.

Registration

In order to register for the live audition or submit a video audition, you will need to complete the following steps by the listed deadline:
Currently enrolled students need only complete Step 3.

  1. Apply for Admission to the University of Kansas.
  2. Once admitted, set up your KU Online ID.
  3. Complete the Dance BFA & Scholarships Application through KU AcademicWorks. For questions regarding AcademicWorks contact scholarships@ku.edu.
