Choreographic Fellowship
The Department of Theatre & Dance at the University of Kansas invites emerging and established choreographers to apply for a two-week artist residency to teach technique classes and set an approximately 10–15-minute group work (preferably for about 10 students) on the University Dance Company.
Established choreographic fellows receive an honorarium of $5,000, plus paid housing and travel. Emerging artists receive a $2,000 honorarium. All fellows will have studio time available to prepare for rehearsals. A livestream video from the UDC performance will be available for archival purposes.
We are not currently accepting applications at this time.
Please direct any questions about the fellowship or application process by email to KU Dance.
