Jeremy Watson

Jeremy has been a professional pianist, accompanist, and music director in the Kansas City theater scene for the past 17 years and has performed and directed in over 100 equity and non equity productions for every professional theatre in town. His recent productions include School of Rock where he was the Assistant Music Director for Starlight Theatre and Songs for a New World at MTKC. In addition to theatre, Jeremy is the music director and traditional worship leader for Church of the Resurrection’s new Lee Summit campus where he plays piano and organ and directs the choir. Before coming to KU, Jeremy worked for Pembroke Hill private school as their assistant choir director and choir accompanist and created and co-taught their music theatre lab. Jeremy’s main gig however is being a father to his two children Henry and Georgia, and husband to his wife Amanda. The Watson family resides in Lee’s Summit Missouri and is very involved with the LSR7 school district and local Lee’s Summit community.
